Responsibilities:
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls.
Document/record minutes of departmental meetings.
Review, distribute and disseminate incoming/outgoing mail.
Receive and direct visitors.
General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing.
Bookkeeping and recordkeepingMaintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
Retrieve documents from filing system.
Handle requests for information and data.
Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
Input courses and student schedules in Banner.
Prepare written responses to routine enquiries.
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangementsPrepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules.
Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
Maintain office supply inventories.
Coordinate maintenance of office equipmentCoordinate and maintain records.
Represent the departments at open houses outside of regular office hours on occasion.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School diploma, BS degree preferred in any discipline and proficiency in word processing soft wares particularly Microsoft word, and in any data managing software particularly Microsoft Excel are required for application to be considered.
Previous experience at a similar position would be advantageous.
Some familiarity with Banner.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
