In the ISG custodian role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of all assigned areas.
Responsibilities Space Cleaning.
Clean spaces to ensure they are clean, sanitary, and sightly, consistent with the specified class of service.
Emptying Waste and Recycling Containers.
Floor Care.
Sweeping/Dust Mopping hard surfaces, Vacuuming Carpets, Rugs, and Walk-Off Mats.
Carpet Spot Cleaning.
Monitor carpeted areas for stains, blemishes, and damaged areas to ensure carpets are clean and sightly.
Low Area Cleaning.
Provide low-area cleaning services to include all fountains, sinks, kitchens, furniture, and fixtures to a maximum height of 7'-0 above floor level.
High Area Cleaning.
Provide high-area cleaning services to include all areas that are vertical and horizontal surfaces above 7'-0 from floor level Interior and Exterior Window Cleaning.
Clean interior and exterior window surfaces and adjacent areas to ensure that surfaces are clean.
Restroom Cleaning (including showers and locker rooms, when present.
Restroom Supplies.
Service restrooms to ensure they are stocked with sufficient supplies.
Window Blinds Cleaning.
Service window blinds to ensure they are clean and in the same operational condition prior to cleaning.
Policing Perimeter Services.
Empty waste containers and remove debris from the building perimeter to ensure a sightly appearance.
Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
Handles emergency cleaning and upkeep requests Skills Proven experience as custodian, janitor, or in a similar role.
(Preferred) Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions (Preferred) Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules Attention to detail and situational awareness.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to pass Federal security screenings.
Must be able to write and read to interpret written manuals and directives.
Must be able to follow oral instructions for the accomplishment of job assignments.
